See Revival Day Six: Who is Worthy?

As we reflect on the unfolding narrative of our world, we can’t help but ask some critical questions: Who can bring order to chaos? Who can end the wars – and the rumors of wars? Who can bring justice to the oppressed and establish a righteous economic and political system? Who can restore the peace and prosperity reminiscent of Eden?

In moments of profound uncertainty, people often look for leaders—figures in power who might offer hope and restoration. But let us be clear: there is only one who possesses the power to initiate true change, and it is not President Trump. Indeed, he himself has declared, “I am not your savior.” In the face of turmoil and adversity, our gaze must shift towards the only one who is truly worthy of our trust: Jesus Christ.

The Book of Revelation, specifically in Revelation 5:6-14, paints a vivid picture of Jesus as “a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain.” This imagery evokes profound meaning. It was only when John witnessed this Lamb that he understood there was no one who could approach the throne of God, nor could anyone open the ancient seals to initiate the final judgment on the Earth. It is through Jesus that the current world order will be brought to a close.

Consider the weight of this truth: while God empowers many individuals to fulfill various roles, even using rulers and leaders who may not know Him, only Jesus can restore creation and humanity to its intended glory. Presidents, prime ministers, and royals may manage the present world, but the promise of the world to come rests solely on the shoulders of Jesus, the Holy Son of God.

John tells us in Revelation 5:9-10 that the citizenship of God’s New World Order is fashioned from those whom Jesus has redeemed from every tongue, tribe, and nation. This is a vast and inclusive vision, filled with hope and promise for humanity. In heaven, angels and an untold number of saints cry out, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain!” (Revelation 5:12). This chorus of praise from “ten thousand times ten thousand” demonstrates a profound truth: only the Lamb who was slain is worthy of power, wealth, wisdom, strength, honor, glory, and praise.

As we worship, we are invited to bow before the only one deserving of our allegiance. In your own life, it is time to surrender to His lordship. Amid life’s trials, challenges, and uncertainties, remember that Jesus—not any earthly leader—is the sole savior.
What we experience now is temporary; it will all pass away, regardless of how severe the present may be or how daunting the future becomes. Ultimately, we hold steadfast to the truth: Jesus still reigns, and in the end, He will make all things new.

Let us come together, bowing before the only one worthy of our hearts and our hopes. The worthy Lamb will be victorious, and in Him, we find our salvation and our song!
